RAK289 Electronic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor, also known as a blood pressure meter or sphygmomanometer, is a medical device used to measure the force of blood against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps it around the body. This measurement is typically expressed in two values: 

1. Systolic Pressure: This is the higher of the two numbers and represents the pressure in the arteries when the heart contracts (beats) and pumps blood into circulation. 

1. Diastolic Pressure: This is the lower of the two numbers and represents the pressure in the arteries when the heart is at rest between beats. 

Blood pressure is measured in millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and is usually written as systolic/diastolic, for example, 120/80 mmHg. 

Blood pressure monitors include: 

• Manual Blood Pressure Monitors, require a healthcare professional or trained individual to use a stethoscope and manually inflate and deflate a cuff around the patient’s arm to determine blood pressure.
